Callback information for fall shows

Hello!  Thank you all for auditioning for our fall shows!

Tomorrow (Friday, 8/28) at 2:00 PM (or 3:00 PM), meet by the Fine Arts hallway entrance (Door #29), right by the shop/loading dock area.  Bring a water bottle and clothes that are easy to move in.  Bring your mask and make sure you have done the QR screening posted at the entrance before entering the building.

If you are called back for I and You, your call back is at 2:00 PM.  You will not stay past 3:30 PM.

Please read the script that is on the Google Classroom, under the Classwork tab, under Resources:  https://classroom.google.com/c/MTI2NjMxNTM5OTQ2?cjc=6xrptep.

Be prepared to do cold readings from the play.  Callbacks will take place in the Black Box, FA 116.

If you are called back for Peter Pan, there will be two different callback groups:  one at 2:00, and the next at 3:00.  Be warmed up and ready to move.  Callbacks will take place on stage in the Fine Arts Center.

There is one more fall show, but callbacks are not needed.

Please remember, just because you are not called back does not mean that you are not cast.

8/5 Update on impact to Theatre with regard to remote, in-person, and hybrid attendance options

https://twitter.com/TheatreFalcon/status/1291105990964842497?s=19

We have received several questions asking about remote, in-person, and hybrid classes. We wanted to share what information we have about each of the options

REMOTE: All theatre classes are going to have a remote option. Remote classes will follow specific curriculum written for remote learning, and will be taught by a high school theatre teacher from Keller ISD.

IN-PERSON: All theatre classes are going to be offered in person as well. Any student who attends in person will take their theatre classes as normal.

HYBRID: If you sign up for hybrid classes, you will do most of your learning remotely, and you will attend specific classes in person. If you are having trouble signing up for more than one hybrid class, you should contact your counselor. The following theatre classes are available as hybrid options:

-Theatre Production -Theatre Select

-Technical Theatre 1-4 -Musical Theatre 1-3

-Directing

Our current plan, as of 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5th, is to produce a Fall show with our in-person students, a Fall show with our remote students, and a musical with options for all students to participate.

Due to the nature and concept of the show, Frankenstein will be tabled to a later date. Titles for this year’s fall show are to be determined.

If you have any questions, please let us know. We will do our best to answer them. Regardless of what option you choose, Falcon Theatre supports whatever choice that is best for you and your family. We cannot wait to continue supporting you and your love of our art however we can
